Twin Girls for Jeff Richards

Jeff Richards and his wife, Eileen Byrne, welcomed twin girls on Tuesday April 8. Jeff says, "At 3:42 am CDT, a beautiful baby girl arrived, 3 lbs, 13 ounces.  And two minutes later, another beautiful baby girl arrived, 3 lbs, 8 ounces. According to the doctors, the girls are good size for their age, are breathing under their own steam, have healthy color, and no real complications so far (knocking on wood as I type).  Basically, it wasn't ideal for them to arrive this early, but things are as good as we could hope for under the circumstances.... Foolishly thinking we had at least a couple more weeks, we were still in the middle of name discussions when this all started (we were most of the way through possible boys names, but hadn't started talking about girls yet .... oops!)   So names are still TBD." Jeff says the girls will be in the hospital for a while. Congratulations, and we can't wait to hear the names!
